BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Echoing another case in Kentucky, two Alabamians claim they were assaulted by supporters of then-presidential candidate Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Birmingham in 2015.
The Sixth Circuit decided this month that it will hear a similar case brought by protesters who claim they were attacked at a Trump campaign rally in Louisville, Ky., last year after the then-candidate yelled “get ‘em out of here.”
