Student disciplinary records

AUSTIN — A Texas appeals court upheld a lower court’s determination that the University of Texas must disclose the final results of disciplinary proceedings against students who committed violent or sexual offenses, as these are public records and “of significant public interest.” The newspaper seeking the records was awarded attorney fees.
