Treble trouble

HARRISBURG, Penn. — The Pennsylvania Supreme Court found that the appellate court improperly upheld the trial court’s decision to not award certain damages in this suit, wherein a couple alleges they were fraudulently induced to purchase life insurance from a financial company. Under the Consumer Protection Law, treble damages are available to the couple.
