LOS ANGELES — An appeals court in California upheld the denial of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ anti-SLAPP motion in a case brought by seven adults who say they were molested by a priest when they were children and that the Archdiocese was vicariously liable for “ratifying the molestation and directly liable for its own negligence in failing to supervise the priest.”
