PEORIA, Ill. (CN) - Talk about a high steaks burglary ... a man came home last weekend to find that someone had broken in, but the only thing missing was a $6 steak. Police say the intruder apparently cooked and ate the steak, which had been thawing on the kitchen counter. He left dirty dishes in the sink, a dirty skillet on the stove and soiled paper towels on the counter, the police report states.
