PEORIA, Ill. (CN) - A 13-year-old boy was arrested half an hour after he used a handgun to hold up a bank, police said. The boy allegedly robbed South Side Bank on Monday, and was nabbed 36 minutes later in a nearby garage.
Police said the boy fled the bank with a money bag, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a red bandanna on his face. The money bag contained a red dye that exploded and the boy's sweatshirt was covered with the dye, according to police.
