AUSTIN (CN) - Parents of a 12-year-old boy who suffers from reactive attachment disorder and post-concussion syndrome say that the Central Texas Autism Center developed an abusive education plan for him, depriving him of comforting objects, subjecting him to mind games, physically restraining him and forcing him into solitary confinement.
The parents say the Center "wrecked his life" after El Campo Independent School District hired it to develop the plan, which consisted of 45 contrived trials a day, designed to frustrate the child. They say they had to pull their son out of school to prevent further mistreatment.
They demand punitive damages. They are represented in Travis County Court by Jason Ryan.
