ST. CHARLES, Mo. (CN) - The City of St. Peter's does not have to turn over its records to an environmental group, St. Charles County Circuit Judge Ted House ruled. The Great Rivers Environmental Law Center sued St. Peter's in September 2007 seeking records of the city's plan to revise the government's map of the Mississippi River floodway.
Judge House found that St. Peter's did not violate Missouri's open records law by failing to release the documents. St. Peter's is 30 miles northwest of St. Louis.
