AKRON (CN) - When Bulldog Moving Co. drove to the wrong town in Pennsylvania and couldn't find the address to which they agreed to move a disabled woman's belongings, they returned to Ohio and abandoned the truck they had rented from co-defendant Bill Tice Services, which dumped her stuff on a sidewalk, and it was all stolen, the woman says.
Judi Kennedy claims Bulldog's employees went to Glenshaw, Pa., instead of Greenville, Pa., as they were supposed to, so they drove back to Ohio and left the truck at or near Tice's facility. Tice is a UHaul agent. Tice told her to come pick up her stuff, but the plaintiff has multiple sclerosis and could not do it, nor could she be expected to do it. So, she says, "Tice employees unloaded Kennedy's household goods from the UHaul truck onto the sidewalk near the Tice facility." Then "unknown third parties" stole all of it.Kennedy is represented by Amer Cunningham in Summit County Court. See complaint.
