LOS ANGELES (CN) - Former "West Wing" star Kim Webster, whose apartment building caught fire last September, is suing her former landlord, L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling, who she says failed to prevent the electrical fire.
Webster and other tenants of the building say in Superior Court that Sterling knew about the faulty wiring in the building but did nothing about it.
Webster and her co-plaintiffs also say Sterling harassed them, gave them inadequate alternate housing after the blaze, and failed to replace valuable items destroyed in the fire.
They also say they suffer with health issues after the fire, including chronic, severe headaches, chronic post nasal drip, sinus problems and nausea.
The Los Angeles apartment complex caught fire Sept. 28, 2009.
Webster and the others seek unspecified damages for what they say is negligence and a breach of contract.
They are represented by Joseph Gonzalez with Gonzalez and Robinson.
