PITTSBURGH (CN) - Frank's Auto Supply, of Uniontown, has taken on Ford in a trademark battle. Frank's says it's been using the phrase "We Speak Car" since 2003 and has a trademark pending on it. Ford is using the phrase to push its Fusion and Fusion Hybrid models. Frank's says Ford already has spent $60 million to $80 million on ads that use the phrase.
Frank's says it will suffer irreparable damage if Ford is allowed to continue using the phrase. It demands an injunction and treble damages.
Frank's is represented by J. Matthew Pritchard IV with The Webb Law Firm.
