Voting rights

RALEIGH, N.C. — A court in North Carolina ruled a state law that denies the right to vote to people on felony probation, parole, or post-release supervision violates the state constitution and is discriminatory. The court enjoined the law, ruling that such individuals may “lawfully register and vote.”
