USA Says Unsafe Plane Flew 58 Times

BROOKLYN (CN) - An Air Jamaica plane had to make an emergency landing due to "separation of the air conditioning bay panels and hydraulic failure" caused by Air Jamaica's incompetent maintenance, the USA claims in Federal Court. The government says the unsafe aircraft flew on 58 commercial flights until the near-tragedy happened shortly after takeoff from JFK Airport.
