US Accused Of Bogus Terror Accusation

PADUCAH, KY. (CN) – Defense Department officials at Fort Campbell falsely accused a former civilian employee of “making terrorist threats,” costing her employment opportunities, Erin McAuliffe-Brown claims in a $1 million demand in Federal Court.

McAuliffe-Brown claims Fort Campbell’s Provost Marshall maliciously had her unlawfully arrested and negligently charged with disorderly conduct and unlawful imprisonment in early 2005. A federal judge dismissed the charges with prejudice in October that year, she says. Uncle Sam fired her, and as she sought work, she says, “employees of the Office of the Fort Campbell Provost Marshall informed potential employers that Plaintiff had been charged with making terrorist threats.”
She is represented by James Harris of Nashville.
