WASHINGTON (CN) - For the first time, the United States Postal Service will offer age-restricted delivery for mail shipped Express, Priority, or Parcel Select.
The service will be offered in two forms: "Adult Signature Required," which requires photo identification from anyone at least 21 years old at the delivery address, and "Adult Signature Restricted Delivery," which requires photo identification from the specific addressee.
While the new service will allow shipment of tobacco via the postal service, alcohol is still not shippable via the mails.
