A gun show attendee who claims the FBI prevented him from buying a gun cannot pursue his civil rights claim against the agency, a federal court in Michigan ruled. The court determined that even if an FBI agent disclosed confidential information about the customer to the seller, that does not qualify as a “direct and traceable injury.”
