SAN MARCOS, Texas (CN) - Former Texas Supreme Court candidate Rick Green claims the Texas Bipartisan Justice Committee, the Texas Association of Realtors and others cost him the Republican nomination for a seat on the bench in 2010 by defaming him, because, among other things, his advocacy for "conservative causes, family values, constitutional issues concerning the proper role of government, and the historically accurate views and actions of America's founding fathers ... did not sit well with some activists within the Republican Party and members of the media."
