State Medicaid Claims|Systems Get Funding

WASHINGTON (CN) - Medicaid regulations for computerized claims processing and informaition retrieval have been changed, according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

The agency has made money available for design, development and installation or enhancement of eligibility determination systems until Dec. 31, 2015. To get the money, an office would have to abide by new standards for timeliness, accuracy, efficiency, and integrity for mechanized claims processing and information retrieval systems.
