Stansell v FARC – Bello sanctions order in USDC South FL

A Florida federal judge entered a default judgment against Venezuelan billionaire Samark Jose Lopez Bello.

U.S. District Judge Robert Scola sanctioned Venezuelan billionaire Samark Jose Lopez Bello for failing to appear at a deposition and entered a default judgment against him in an action to determine whether Bello and his corporations qualify as agencies of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia such that they can be garnished to satisfy a $318 million judgment.
