BNP Paribas demands $70 million from K1 Invest and others, in a complaint involving derivative hedges in New York County Court. JPMorgan Markets fka Bear Stearns demands $82 million from the same defendants in a similar case in the same court.

Here are the defendants in both cases: K1 Invest Ltd., K1 Global Ltd., Helmut Kiener, Dieter Frerichs, X1 Fund Allocation GmbH, Nauticus Fund Ltd., Silverback Fund Ltd., Oceanus Asset Managment Ltd., and John Tausche.
