Second Circuit will rehear appeal over trans-inclusive sports

MANHATTAN — A panel of Second Circuit judges agreed to rehear arguments in a lawsuit filed by four former Connecticut high school athletes seeking to have their school athletic records scrubbed of their transgender competitors’ results. Last December, the court upheld the lower court’s dismissal of the lawsuit, finding the students “simply have not been deprived of a ‘chance to be champions.’”
