WASHINGTON - Mill Valley, Calif., attorney Kenneth Christison will disgorge unjust profits and pay a$25,000 fine for his part in a multimillion-dollar pump-and-dump stock scam conductedover the Internet, the SEC said today. Christison wrote a series of "bogus legal opinion letters for Arizona-based securities traders Michael Paloma and Lawrence Kaplan, who made $3 million through illegal blast faxes, the SEC said. They await sentencing.
