Runoff election

AUSTIN, Texas — An appeals court in Texas found evidence was insufficient to show a man acted with the winning candidate’s approval when he published and mailed to the public advertisements during a 2018 runoff election for a Polk County District Court judge spot in which the plaintiff was the losing candidate.
