LOS ANGELES (CN) - The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine has filed the latest shot in the health wars, claiming McDonald's, Burger King, TGI Friday's, Carlson Restaurants, Applebee's, Chick-Fil-A and other chains sell grilled chicken without clear warnings about its possible carcinogenic effects. The committee also sued Brinker International, which owns Chili's restaurants, and OSI Restaurant Partners (Outback Steakhouse), in Superior Court.
