ATLANTA (CN) - A woman claims rapper Gucci Mane (Radric Davis) shoved her out of his moving Hummer when she refused his offer of $150 to go with him to a hotel. Davis is in jail again for the battery and recklessness, the woman says.
Diana Graham sued Davis for battery, false imprisonment and other charges in DeKalb County Court.
Graham says she was waiting for a beauty supply store to open at a mall on Jan. 28 when she "was approached by a male in a white Hummer who introduced himself as 'Gucci' and asked if she would like to get breakfast.
She says she agreed to go to breakfast, and that "As they were driving, 'Gucci' stated he was the rapper Gucci Mane.
"When Ms. Graham realized they were driving further than she had anticipated, she asked w[h]ere they were going.
"Radric Davis aka Gucci Mane stated he wanted to go to a hotel and that he would give her $150.00.
"Ms. Graham refused and asked to be taken back to the mall.
"Radric Davis aka Gucci Mane then leaned over Ms. Graham and opened the side door while the vehicle was still in motion.
"Radric Davis aka Gucci Mane shoved Ms. Graham several times in the side and shoulder area in an attempt to get her out of his vehicle.
"Radric Davis aka Gucci Mane then left the roadway on Brannen Road where he was able to push Ms. Graham out of the vehicle which was still moving."
Graham says that Davis later "admitted in a tape recorded phone call from jail that he pushed Ms. Graham out of his vehicle," and says he pleaded guilty to battery, reckless conduct and disorderly conduct on Sept. 13, in DeKalb County Court.
Graham seeks punitive damages and costs.
She is represented by Brenda Joy Bernstein.
Davis is in the DeKalb County Jail, according to the complaint. He served time for assault in 2005, and for violating probation in 2009, according to news reports.
