Ransomware Attack

A federal court in Maryland ruled in favor of a screen printing company in a dispute with its insurer after it was denied coverage for damage to its computer system sustained in a ransomware attack. The insurer had argued there must be physical damage to the system but the policy language covers the damage to the system.
