Racist All But Hangs|Himself at Trial

OLATHE, Kan. (CN) – A white racist accused of murdering three people in Kansas last year did a good job of hanging himself Friday, representing himself in his capital murder trial.
Closing arguments were scheduled for Monday in the trial of F. Glenn Miller Jr. aka Frazier Glenn Cross Jr., 74.
Testifying Friday as his only defense witness, Miller told jurors he wanted to kill as many Jews as possible and that his only regret is that he did not kill more.
He is accused of murdering Dr. William Corporon, 69, and his 14-year-old grandson, Reat Underwood, outside the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park on April 13, 2014, and of murdering Terri LaManno, 53, outside the Village Shalom care center that day.
Miller allegedly told the police officers who arrested him: “I hate goddamn Jews. How many did I get?”
None of the victims was Jewish.
“I submit I had no criminal intent. I had a patriotic intent,” Miller told the jury on Friday. In addition to anti-Semitic tirades, Miller cursed Johnson County Judge Kelly Ryan for refusing to allow him to present hate website materials as evidence.
Miller compared himself to George Washington for “rising up against tyranny,” and to fictional attorney Perry Mason for the way he’s handled himself in court.
He told jurors he used to pick up black prostitutes and drive them to remote areas to “beat the hell out of them.”
Miller repeatedly placed himself at the scene of the crimes in his testimony. Earlier in the week, he asked Judge Ryan if he could have his guns back if he is found innocent. On Friday he said the killings were premeditated – “no doubt about it.”
“I’m proud of myself,” he told the jury on Friday. “I feel good about it.”
If convicted, he will be sentenced to death or life in prison.
