Prison reform advocate

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A longtime criminal justice reform advocate and pretrial detainee claims Tennessee prison officials are violating his constitutional rights by keeping him in solitary confinement conditions harsher than those of death-row inmates even though he is charged with a nonviolent crime.
