Priest’s Mental Health Report

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that excerpts from a Roman Catholic diocesan priest’s mental health treatment report may not be included in a grand jury report. The grand jury was convened in 2016 to examine allegations of past acts of child abuse by priests and others associated with six Catholic dioceses in Pennsylvania. 

HARRISBURG, Penn. – The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that excerpts from a Roman Catholic diocesan priest’s mental health treatment report may not be included in a grand jury report.
