WASHINGTON (CN) - The Postal Regulatory Commission has adopted rules that allow it to grant parts of a request for copies of its records, under the Freedom of Information Act, while it determines whether other items may be released.
Also, the rules include that the commission will not receive a fee for the request if it does not comply within the 20 working day time limit, and a mechanism for giving each request a tracking number.
