WASHINGTON (CN) - The United States Postal Service is raising prices on international mail retail services.
The price increases for retail services average 4.1 percent for Global Express Guaranteed service; 2.9 percent for Express Mail International service; and 3.0 percent for Priority Mail International service.
The new prices are effective on January 4, 2010. The commercial base price for these products, offered to customers who use USPS.com or an authorized PC Postage vendor, is discounted from the retail price by 10 percent for Global Express Guaranteed service, 8 percent for Express Mail International service and 5 percent for Priority Mail International service.
