Pest prevention

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — An appeals court in California ruled the state’s Department of Food and Agriculture’s environmental impact report analyzing management and mitigation measures for pest prevention is inadequate. The report does not, for example, explain how certain practices would reduce the adverse effects of pesticide use on bees.
