Verizon claims Cox Communications swiped its patented telecom technology for combining Internet protocols, in Norfolk, Va., Federal Court.

Beholder Productions claims in Philadelphia Federal Court that these defendants violate copyright on its "Ultimate Voice Coach" materials: Fred Catona, Gary Catona, Catona Group, Gotham Distributing Corp., Ultimate Voice Coach LLC, and Ron Anderson.

Jim Beam Brands Co. claims in New York County Court that Tequila Cuervo breached an agreement not to use Beam's "Cuervo Bird Design." Cuervo is Spanish for crow.
