A federal court in Arizona ruled that an officer is not entitled to immunity in a civil rights suit brought by a party-giver. The officer, who allegedly hit the party host several times, was not in imminent danger, did not have probable cause to arrest the host and did not need to enter the home to protect anyone’s safety.
