SAN FRANCISCO — The Ninth Circuit vacated and remanded the appeal of a district court’s ruling against plaintiffs who sued Oregon Secretary of State Cheryl Myers over the state’s voting machines, which allegedly lacked accreditation and may be hacked in the future. The lower court correctly held that the plaintiffs lack standing to sue because they have not shown their ability to exercise the franchise is at risk.
