Order Of The Purple Heart Accused|Of Condoning Sexual Harassment

DENVER (CN) - The Military Order of the Purple Heart took no action to complaints of sexual harassment, sexual pawing and "grossly improper conduct" by an employee at its Lakewood office, but fired the woman 10 days after she complained to the EEOC, she claims in Federal Court.

Cynthia Royce's complaint accuses Veteran Administration employee Dan Ice of sexual harassment. She claims that after the Military Order of the Purple Heart fired her, it "sought and obtained from VA personal, private and confidential information concerning Ms. Royce."

She seeks lost wages and punitive damages. She is represented by Mark Bove.
