A federal judge in Ohio denied the League of Women Voters’ and other groups’ motion for an emergency order to prevent Ohio’s primary election from taking place in the time and manner prescribed by a state bill passed unanimously March 27, which allows the election to take place only through absentee-voting until April 28.
