NY City Council Members Try To Block|Vote On Bloomberg’s Try For A Third Term

MANHATTAN (CN) - Two New York City Council members asked the Manhattan State Supreme Court to block a City Council vote on Mayor Michael Bloomberg's effort to change the law to let him run for a third term. Two members from Brooklyn said the entire Council would have a conflict of interest, as they would be voting on their own terms of office as well as Bloomberg's. The vote is scheduled for Thursday.
