NRDC Demands EPA Act on SoCal Air Regs

SAN FRANCISCO (CN) – The Natural Resources Defense Council demands that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency comply with the law and approve or reject several revisions to the California State Implementation Plan to clean the air in the South Coast Air Basin and the San Joaquin Valley. The EPA had 18 months to act on revisions submitted in 2003 and 2004 but has sat on its hands. See the federal complaint.
