No Call List

WASHINGTON (CN) – Telemarketers must not call those on the National Do-Not-Call Registry, indefinitely, according to a Federal Communication Commission regulation.
An exception is made if the consumer cancels the registration or the number has been disconnected.
This regulation prevents most consumers from having to re-register every five years, when, as the original rule stated, the registration would expire and the phone number would be dumped off the list.
