Model Claims She Was|Kicked in the Face

LOS ANGELES (CN) - Poker player-actor Dan Bilzerian kicked a model in the face at a night club, the woman claimed Wednesday in a lawsuit.

Vanessa Castano sued Dan Brandon Bilzerian in Superior Court, claiming he kicked her in the face on Dec. 7 in the LIV Nightclub in Miami.

Castano, who describes herself in the lawsuit as "a slightly framed professional model," says she had never met Bilzerian. She claims that he "violently and intentionally kicked (her) in the face while wearing what resembled military boots," making her bleed from the face and eye.

The lawsuit describes Bilzerian as "a menacing trust fund recipient and Navy veteran best known for broadcasting his lifestyle of excess, including the denigration of women, hordes of banded cash, and weapons on social media."

She seeks punitive damages for assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

She is represented by Keith Davidson, of Beverly Hills.

It's not the only problem Bilzerian faced this week. He was arrested at LAX airport Tuesday night on a warrant out of Nevada, then released, according to wire services.

It was unclear, from varying reports, whether the warrant had been withdrawn in Nevada.
