MANHATTAN (CN) - Frederick Price, minister and founder of the Crenshaw Christian Center East, claims ABC TV defamed him on "20/20" by broadcasting his boast ofgreat wealth whileomitting the caveat that "people can feel spiritually unfulfilled" despitewealth.
The suit, filed in the Southern District of New York,also namesbroadcaster John Stossel as a defendant. Price sayshewas "discussing hypothetically, in the first person singular, how people can have great wealth." Price's federalclaim statesthat his point was that "such people can feel spiritually unfulfilled despite their great wealth," but ABC omitted that part.
