CHICAGO — A federal court in Illinois granted the state's motion to dismiss it from a suit brought by a Catholic rideshare driver who claimed the Centers for Disease Control’s requirement that people wear masks on public transportation violated his First Amendment rights by preventing him from “following the teachings of the biblical Good Samaritan.”
