WASHINGTON (CN) - The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has published its yearly amendments to a list of importation-worthy cars not originally manufactured to conform to the federal motor vehicle safety standards.
The amendments add all vehicles that the NHTSA has decided are eligible for importation since Oct. 1, 2008, whose makers include Ferrari, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, and Mercedes Benz.
The amendments also remove all previously listed vehicles that are now more than 25 years old and no longer need to comply with all applicable standards to be lawfully imported.
