CHICAGO (CN) - Adel Rootstein says it makes the best mannequins in the world, for ritzy retailers, and Forever 21 is selling inferior knockoffs to "mass market retail stores." Rootstein says its first famous mannequin was based on Twiggy in the 1960s.
Adel Rootstein says it "designs and manufactures premium artistic mannequins of supermodels and other figures, frequently in fanciful poses, for sale to premium retailers and to art collectors," and that Forever 21 bought five trademarked items and copied them.
