LOS ANGELES (CN) – Katt Williams’s manager, Mark Williams, claims in Superior Court that the comedian punched him in the face and knocked him out on May 27.
Mark Williams, the comedian’s tour manager, claims the comic’s punch put him out cold for 90 seconds, and that “Katt Williams was wearing his diamond rings, which served as a brass knuckles weapon.”
He says he suffered a concussion, a loose tooth, and head and face injuries.
He seeks punitive damages for assault and battery, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
He is represented by Michael Shapiro.
Katt Williams has been sued repeatedly in recent years, several times for allegedly odd, sometimes violent, behavior..
