Man Busted On Child Porn Charges

LOS ANGELES (CN) – A 33-year-old man was charged Tuesday with using the Internet to entice 10 or more teen-age girls to have sex with him and pose for pornography. Gregory Scott Serrano, of Monrovia, met his victims through sites such as MySpace, Netlog, and MyYearbook, federal prosecutors said.

Police were alerted when a 15-year-old girl reported that Serrano had posed online as a 19-year-old boy, then lured her from her home, gave her alcohol, had sex with her and took pornographic photos of her, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. The indictment lists 10 girls as victims, but prosecutors believe there were others.
Scott used several screen names, including Greg Scott, Purein10citi, citigreg1116, serranogreg and latinoload1116, prosecutors said. They ask anyone with information about him to call the FBI at (310) 477-6565.
Serrano also was charged with trying to destroy evidence. The indictment states that after he was arrested, on March 12, Serrano asked a family member to hide a compact disc stashed in a rollerblade in his basement. The FBI seized it and found logs of email conversations with his victims, and child pornography, prosecutors said.
Serrano is in jail awaiting arraignment on a welter of child pornography charges. He will be arraigned in Superior Court in Pasadena on June 6.
