The Fish and Wildlife Service must determine whether the northern long-eared bat should be listed as an endangered species within 18 months of completing its Special Status Assessment of it and two other bat species, a federal court in Washington ruled, finding the agency’s proposed timeline to complete the listing was “unreasonable.”
