LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department and District Attorney's Office will release hundreds of documents per the terms of a settlement with the Human Rights Defense Center, the watchdog group and the UC Irvine Law School — whose students represented the group — announced Monday. The documents relate to lawsuits filed against the law enforcement agencies by people who alleged misconduct by deputies, investigators and prosecutors.
