Las Vegas stadium funding

LAS VEGAS — Nevada's funding for a new Major League Baseball stadium violates the state constitution and will take money away from students and teachers, Strong Public Schools Nevada says. The political action committee argues that the law funding a new home for the Oakland A's needed to pass the Legislature with a two-thirds majority and is therefore invalid.
